01Welcome
Development begins when every woman has room to take part
Femeia în dezvoltare socială și economică — Women in Social and Economic Development — brings attention to a simple idea: communities grow stronger when women can participate fully in the life around them. That means having a voice in community decisions, a fair chance at work and enterprise, and access to the information that makes informed choices possible.
We believe this work rests on dignity. Every woman deserves to be treated with respect, to be listened to, and to be met where she is — whether she lives in a city or a village, whether she is starting out or starting again.
Our attention turns to education, cooperation and inclusive development: the everyday conditions that let women learn, connect with one another and contribute to the social and economic life of Moldova.

05Why women's development matters
Why women's development matters
When women have equal opportunities to learn, work and take part in public life, the benefits reach far beyond any one person. Households become more secure, children grow up with wider horizons, and communities gain the skills and perspectives of all their members.
Progress is not automatic. Many women still face obstacles: limited access to information, unequal care responsibilities, distance from services, or a lack of confidence built over years of being overlooked. Naming these barriers is the first step to reducing them.

06Social inclusion and community participation
Social inclusion and community participation
Inclusion means that participation is genuinely possible — that meetings are open, information is understandable, and every voice is treated with respect.
We are interested in the conditions that help women contribute to their communities: spaces to meet and exchange ideas, respectful dialogue, and cooperation between people of different ages, backgrounds and languages.

07Education and personal development
Education and personal development
Learning does not end with school. Lifelong learning — whether it concerns digital skills, financial knowledge, civic rights or a new profession — helps women adapt to change and pursue their own goals.
Personal development matters just as much: the confidence to speak, to ask questions and to try something new.

08Economic opportunity
Economic opportunity
Economic participation gives women independence and choice. It includes employment, entrepreneurship, farming and rural enterprise, financial literacy, and knowing where to find relevant resources.
These are areas of interest for the organization. Where specific opportunities or initiatives are confirmed, they will be announced on this website.
