About Us

The organization's official name is Femeia în dezvoltare socială și economică. It is identified by IDNO 1015620006946 and is located at Strada Comunismului 208, Tighina, Moldova.

Our purpose is to draw attention to, and support, the conditions that allow women to develop their potential and participate fully in society.

Mission (proposed): To support women's social and economic development by promoting equal opportunities, personal empowerment, access to knowledge, community participation, and inclusive opportunities for a better future.

Vision (proposed): A society in which women can participate fully in social, economic, and community life, exercise their rights, develop their potential, and contribute to sustainable development.

• We are accountable to the people and communities we serve.

Across Moldova, women play a central role in families, workplaces, farms and communities. At the same time, many face uneven access to employment, information and decision-making — particularly in rural areas and smaller towns.

Strengthening women's participation is therefore not a narrow issue. It is part of building a fairer, more resilient society for everyone.

We aim to be open to women of all ages and backgrounds, and to communicate in Romanian, Russian and English so that language is not a barrier.
