Where we direct our attention
Our Focus Areas
Each area below explains why the topic matters for women and communities. These are areas of interest; confirmed initiatives will be announced separately.

Women's empowerment
Empowerment is about agency — the ability to make choices and act on them. It grows from knowledge, support and the experience of being taken seriously.
Social inclusion
Women living in rural areas, older women, women with disabilities and women caring for family members can face particular barriers. Inclusion means noticing these barriers and working to lower them.
Education and lifelong learning
New skills — digital, financial, professional or civic — help women respond to a changing world and pursue their own goals at any age.
Economic participation
Employment, entrepreneurship, agriculture and small business are all paths to economic independence. Information about rights, resources and opportunities makes those paths easier to follow.
Skills and personal development
Confidence, communication and leadership skills are as important as technical knowledge, and are often the first to grow when women meet and learn together.
Community engagement
When women take part in local life — in associations, public discussions and shared projects — communities benefit from their experience and ideas.
Equal opportunities
Equal opportunity means fair treatment in education, work and public life, and respect for the rights set out in Moldovan law and international commitments.
Sustainable development
Social, economic and environmental progress are connected. Inclusive development considers people, communities and the land they depend on.
